I allready went to several Cons, but EF would be my first Fursuitercon. I allready met 2 Fursuiters at the Connichi2004 and now I'm working on a Cosplay for next years Connichi though it will be some sort of Fursuit as well. I hope I can effort it. I still have several other big bills to pay next year.

Eurofurence is not a Fursuit Convention, its a Furry Convention.
Plus minus 20% of our attendees are Fursuiters.

EF13 will be my 5th EF so far.

I can see. Though I had no idea what "furry" is at the time... I have discovered it a year later... but that is another story. Jamango told me the whole story about EF9, and I know what you mean by "adventure" :-))

quick question.

since its my first EF i dont know about these things. Since the dates are Wed 5th to Sun 9th September. I am assuming that the wednesday and sunday are primarily for people to get to and leave the convention. If so, does that mean that people wont miss much if they arrive later on in the day on the Wednesday or leave early on the Sunday due to travel arrangements?

Yes, thats right. Program is from Thursday to Saturday eavening.

In the past, Wednesday has basically comprised Registration, the Opening Ceremony and a Barbecue, and Sunday is just checkout, the Group Photo and the AGM for Eurofurence e.V. (the non-profit organisation that organises EF)

If you opt to take the Air Berlin flights between London Stansted and Nuremberg I'd suggest getting the morning flight from Stansted on the Wednesday and the evening flight back on Sunday, as that should ensure you get the full EF "experience" (trains permitting!)

And subscribe to the mailing list! E-Mail ukef-join (at) simbaspaws (dot) org or visit this page to do so, and you'll find out what other UK types are planning.

Yeah its my first as well (hopefully paws crossed). I will be nerxous at first but i get in to the flow very quickly

This will be my first furcon too, hehe... and my mate's. @.@

Assuming we can figure out how to get there from the north of England. :P

We figure we'll hide in our room, and then when we get a bit of courage up we'll venture out and see what's going on. It's kinda special too as it's our first holiday together in a year and a bit of togetherness... should be a fun one, can't wait! :)

Yay, my first post...

This will be my first EF and the first Convention at all.
I havent meet that many furrys yet and have never been that deep into that, but i've always been interested in going to a convention to learn more and get into it.

I wanted to go to a EF before but never had the time or money.

As to many others this will be my first con as well  :D .....BIG time excited about it ;D and whit luck i might be able to get a partial fursuit done before the con. So hoping to see you all there and make many new friends.
